Duplex Studio Apartment

The La Nucía project began as a modest, neglected house, acquired as an investment and reimagined through a careful transformation. The intervention focuses on spatial clarity and efficiency, giving the existing property renewed purpose while making better use of its compact footprint.

A new internal staircase organizes the home into two distinct yet connected levels: living, dining and kitchen functions occupy the lower floor, while the upper level is dedicated to rest, with sleeping, bathing and storage spaces. The interior is conceived as a continuous, flowing environment, where a restrained material palette, natural finishes and subtle spatial transitions enhance openness, light and cohesion.

The result is a quiet, contemporary dwelling that transforms a previously overlooked property into a considered home, balancing functionality and atmosphere while creating a sense of openness and calm.
