Tihany Hill Residence at Lake Balaton

Set on the slopes of Tihany Hill, this home is filled with light and opens to panoramic views, closely tied to its natural surroundings. A soft palette of pastel greys, warm wood and indoor greenery creates a quiet atmosphere, while reed from the exterior roof continues inside, joining architecture and landscape.

The house unfolds across two levels, balancing openness with privacy. On the upper floor, a large living, kitchen and dining area faces the panorama and serves as the place where everyone gathers. Below, two bedrooms with private bathrooms offer more intimate rooms, each opening onto a terrace over the lake.

Continuous materials, natural light and a close reading of the site guide the project throughout, so that architecture, interior and landscape come together as one living whole.
