Modern Bohemian Villa in Altea

Near the Spanish coast, this modern bohemian villa is renewed through a balance of authenticity, continuity of materials and openness. The original granite floor is kept as the anchor of the interior, joined by natural stone surfaces and custom-designed furniture that carry the existing character into a more contemporary, cohesive form.

The layout is restructured so that living, kitchen and dining flow into one another. Removing internal walls and adding a central bar connects the interior, visually and socially. Within the open plan, two living areas offer different moods: a secluded lounge for rest and conversation, and a more sociable area linked to the kitchen and terrace.

Warm materials, natural textures and spatial flow run through the whole house, a home where existing character and contemporary design meet, with a Mediterranean, bohemian spirit.
