Urban Apartment in Budapest

In the heart of the city, this apartment is reimagined as a restorative home, an island of tranquillity within the rhythm of urban life. The layout is restructured to favour openness and flow, with nearly half of the space given to a generous living, kitchen and dining area.

Removing non-structural walls makes the interior more fluid and useful, and lets the existing footprint feel larger than it is. A natural palette of soft tones, curved geometries and biophilic elements sets the atmosphere, while stone surfaces, natural paints, porcelain stoneware tiles and custom-designed furniture make the interior cohesive and tactile.

Light, materials and spatial continuity guide the project throughout, turning the apartment into a quiet urban retreat, ordered, easy and apart from the intensity of the city outside.
